Access Bounty requests
Bounty requests only this OAuth scope:- List the account’s Search Console properties.
- Let the user explicitly select one or more domain properties such as
sc-domain:example.comor URL-prefix properties such ashttps://www.example.com/. - Read finalized Search Analytics data for the selected properties.
Connection workflow
- Open Connections in the authenticated Bounty app and select Connect Google Search Console.
- Review Bounty’s disclosure covering the requested data, AI processing, and organization isolation.
- Select Continue to Google and review Google’s consent screen.
- Authorize the read-only Search Console permission.
- Google returns the authorization code to Bounty’s production server callback at
https://app.bountygrowth.com/api/connections/oauth/callback/google-search-console. - Bounty stores the credential in an encrypted, organization-specific Vault secret and lists the properties available to the Google account.
- Select the domain or URL-prefix properties to associate with the current Bounty organization.
Data stored in Bounty Datasets
For each selected property, Bounty can synchronize two daily Datasets using finalized Search Console data:- Search performance by query and page contains the property, date, search query, canonical page URL, search type, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position.
- Search performance by page contains the same fields without the query dimension and is the authoritative page-total Dataset.
America/Los_Angeles; Bounty records that source timezone with the data.
Search Console protects user privacy and limits the rows returned by the Search Analytics API. Privacy-protected, anonymized, or lower-volume query rows may be omitted, so the query-and-page Dataset must not be treated as complete page totals. Use the page Dataset for page totals.
Organization and credential isolation
- The encrypted credential is stored under a Vault secret specific to the Bounty organization and the Search Console integration.
- Property selections are stored against the same organization.
- Bounty repeats property discovery when selections are saved and rejects a property unavailable to the current Google authorization.
- Application queries, Dataset synchronization, and disconnect operations filter by the trusted Bounty organization ID.
- Connecting, synchronizing, or disconnecting Search Console for one organization does not expose or change another organization’s credentials, selections, or data.
AI processing and subprocessors
Bounty may send de-identified Google-derived data to OpenAI or Anthropic as contracted subprocessors only when needed to return an AI-backed feature requested by the user, such as customer-visible analysis, recommendations, chat responses, or workflow outputs. Bounty does not allow those providers to train their general models with submitted customer data. Where enabled, Google-derived data may personalize a model or model artifact only for the relevant Bounty organization. Bounty does not use the data for generalized, foundational, pooled, or cross-customer model training.Disconnect, retention, and deletion
Use Disconnect Google Search Console on the Bounty Connections page to remove the organization’s Search Console OAuth credential and property selections and stop future access through that connection. Disconnect also disables future synchronization for Search Console Datasets. It does not affect the organization’s Google Ads or Google Analytics connections. Synced Search Console Dataset rows are retained by default so existing reporting remains readable. The disconnect confirmation can also delete the organization’s synced Search Console Dataset rows. A user can separately revoke Bounty through their Google Account permissions. To request deletion of previously processed Google-derived data or an associated organization-specific model artifact, follow the instructions on Bounty Support. Bounty’s retention process and deletion timeframe are in the Privacy Policy.Privacy, security, and support
